Compliance contracts and programmes, matched to contractors who can carry them

A single inspection is easy to buy. A five-year maintenance contract across forty buildings, or a fire door remediation programme across a housing portfolio, is not. The firms who can genuinely carry that work are a much shorter list than the firms who will bid for it, and the cost of appointing the wrong one lands years later.

The desk approaches the market anonymously on your behalf, confirms capacity, accreditation and financial standing at source, and comes back with a shortlist you can defend. Free to the building owner, operator or public body. Introductions are made only when you say so.

Why programme briefs are handled differently

Common questions

What size of contract does the desk handle?

Anything from a single planned maintenance contract across one building to a portfolio programme covering hundreds of sites. The larger and more complex the scope, the more useful the desk is, because the work of finding firms with genuine capacity at that scale is where most duty holders lose time.

We are already running a formal tender. Can you still help?

Yes, in two ways. We can widen the field before the deadline so you are not choosing between the same three firms that always bid, and we can help you read the bids you have. Tell us where you are in the process and we will be straight about whether we add anything.

Does it cost the building owner anything?

No. The desk is free to building owners, operators and public bodies. We are paid by the appointed contractor, and only if you appoint one. Nothing is owed if you walk away.

How long does a programme brief take to turn around?

A single-line brief comes back with three confirmed firms inside forty-eight hours. A multi-site programme or a remediation project usually takes longer, because we are confirming capacity, accreditation and financial standing at a scale where getting it wrong is expensive. We tell you the honest timeline when the brief lands.

Looking for a single job rather than a programme? Start with the five compliance lines, or go straight to maintenance and installation. If you are in a specific sector, the sector pages set out what usually drives the compliance load.
