Most compliance tenders attract the same three firms. Not because the market is that small, but because reaching the rest of it takes work nobody has time for, and the firms who would be a good fit never hear the opportunity exists. A narrow field is not a competitive process, whatever the paperwork says.
The desk works on the market side of your procurement, not inside it. We widen the field before your deadline, check accreditation and standing at source, and give you an independent read on whether a submitted scope covers the duty you are trying to discharge. Free to the buyer.
It depends where you are. Before the deadline we can widen the field. After it, we can help you read what you have. Once you are into standstill or an award decision, we are unlikely to add much and we will say so rather than take up your time.
No. We are not a procurement consultancy and we do not sit inside your governance. What we do is market-side: find firms who should be bidding and are not, and tell you what a submitted scope does and does not actually cover against the statutory duty.
We can help you reach more of the market before a deadline and give you an independent read on scope. What we cannot do is anything that would cut across your procurement rules, and we will not try. Tell us the process you are running and we will work inside it.
The buyer never pays. We are paid by the contractor who is ultimately appointed, and only if one is appointed through us. If you run your process and award to an existing bidder, nothing is owed.
We approach the market anonymously in the first instance, which is the point: firms respond to a scope, not to a named buyer they may have history with. You decide when and whether your identity is shared.
Send the scope and where you are in the timeline. We will tell you honestly whether we can widen the field usefully or whether you are better carrying on. Free to the buyer, always.
